LET’S TALK ABOUT INGREDIENTS!
*APRICOT OIL is Mother Nature’s blend of vitamins, antioxidants, fatty acids, essential fatty acids and more. Each is unique and each is beneficial for skin. Out of each group, apricot oil's high content of antioxidants makes it especially strong in protecting, preventing and rejuvenating all skin types.
*SHEA BUTTER is a skin superfood rich in fatty acids and Vitamins A, E and F. Shea butter restores elasticity to the skin preventing moisture loss and is skin softening.
*BTMS 50 (Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Butylene Glycol) is a vegetable based conditioning emulsifying wax. Emulsifying wax is necessary to combine oil and water to make lotion. BTMS 50 is a superior emulsifying wax adding moisture retaining properties to the recipe. The wax also has the added benefit of leaving the skin with a powder-like finish.
*CETEARYL ALCOHOL is added to assist the BTMS 50 in holding the lotion emulsion together and adding stability.
*SODIUM LACTATE is a liquid salt! Sodium Lactate is derived from fermented sugars and helps to maintain moisture as well as draws moisture into the skin.
*GLYCERIN is used as a moisturizer and humectant. Glycerin adds and maintains moisture in the skin. Both elements make skin soft and supple.
*PROPANEDIOL 1,3 is a natural, green, sugar-derived humectant and skin conditioner.
*COLLOIDAL OATMEAL is used for its skin softening and skin soothing properties.
*PRO-VITAMIN B5 will strengthen the skin barrier with ultra hydration and ultra absorption properties.
*PRESERVATIVES. EVERY. SINGLE. LOTION NEEDS A PRESERVATIVE! Know that ANY lotion maker claiming not to use them (antioxidants are not preservatives) are selling a product which is sure to contain mold, mildew and a wide array of bacteria. Water breeds bacteria. Lotion is mostly water. You must have a preservative to maintain the integrity of the product. We use the safest broad spectrum and antimicrobial preservative on the market. Optiphen (Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol) does not contain parabens or formaldehyde.
*DISODIUM EDTA is commonly known as a chelator. Chelating agents help to protect product stability and quality by controlling metal ions naturally occurring in water. Disodium EDTA assists in antioxidant protection, improved antimicrobial performance and stabilizes ingredients such as vitamins, essential oils, and essential fatty acids. Disodium EDTA also works synergistically with your preservative to improve preservative efficacy.

To open, twist the pump top until it pops up. Press down to dispense lotion. Take a moderate amount of product and apply anywhere you need hydration. Use daily for soft, happy, deeply nourished skin you’ll want to show off.
